As one of the first firms to provide security services for the corporate aviation community, ASI Group understands how flight departments work. Traveling in today’s dynamic world requires vigilance and it is vital that flight personnel approach security and emergency preparedness with the same intensity that they apply to aviation safety.

Our Corporate Aviation Security Training (CAST) program is designed to educate flight personnel on proven methods to identify and mitigate the unique risks associated with operating a corporate aircraft. CAST exposes aviation personnel to proven security methods that can protect them against potential threats, including theft, kidnapping, sabotage, extortion, harassment, illegal trafficking and acts of terror.

Our program provides the tools, tips and techniques that will help pilots and flight crew confidently answer these questions and many more.

  • Do you know how to identify potential dangers or red-flag situations in a foreign destination that on the surface seems safer than the United States?
  • Do you know what actions to take if you identify suspicious activity?
  • Do you know what to do if you encounter a corrupt official in another country?
  • Do you know what actions to take in the event of a terrorist attack?
  • Do you have an emergency preparedness plan that ensures effective coordination and communication between the passengers and crew?

Attending CAST allows aviation personnel to take a fresh look at their flight operations and travel habits. After better understanding their weaknesses and vulnerabilities, attendees can incorporate new behaviors that will reduce risk and ensure a safe and secure trip.

Training Program Details and Our Approach

CAST is offered as a half-day or one-day on-site class. Flight departments with uncommon destinations or destinations with higher risk levels may require the full day.

All CAST presentations are unique. An instructor works with the client to design a training program specifically for their corporate aviation needs. ASI Group considers industry type, location of headquarters, intended destinations, en-route stops and areas of proposed operation.

Modules may include the following:

  • Discerning Security Concepts and Methodology
  • Overview of Terrorism and the New Common Threat
  • Identifying Threats and Minimizing Associated Risks
