Charlie LeBlanc, President of ASI Group, is one of America’s foremost experts in the field of general security principals pertaining to both commercial and general aviation. For the past 15 years, Charlie has been an advocate for corporate aviation security and has made frequent media appearances on CNN and CNBC and is quoted regularly in newspapers and magazines nationwide, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and leading dailies in major markets. He also serves on numerous committees and advisory groups, including the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Security Council, NBAA International Operators Committee and the Governor of Texas Advisory Board of Counter Terrorism and Critical Infrastructure Protection. Charlie began his aviation security career with Continental Airlines’ Cargo Division where he was a senior loss and theft manager responsible for developing security procedures, analyzing loss trends, and authoring procedures on acceptance. Before joining ASI Group, he was southwest regional manager for ITS, a commercial aviation security firm. He is knowledgeable about all aspects of pre-board and checked baggage screening, security profiling, aircraft searches and ground security coordinator training at airports around the world. Charlie has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from California State University at Long Beach.
