ASI Privacy Policy Update Log

Introduction

In compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act of 2003, ASI Group ("ASI") has created this document to provide a mechanism in which consumers can review changes to the ASI Privacy Policy.  This document does not constitute the actual ASI Privacy Policy.  If you wish to access the ASI Privacy Policy, please visit: http://www.asigroup.com/privacypolicy.asp

This document will only reflect changes to the ASI Privacy Policy after June 30, 2004.

April 1, 2008: Section 1.1 updated to reflect the date of the most update to the ASI Privacy Policy; Section 6.0 rewritten to reflect ASI's selection of the European Data Protection Authorities (DPAs) as its independent recourse mechanism.  

October 10, 2006: Section 1.0 updated to reflect change of company name from Air Security International to ASI Group;  Section 1.1 updated to reflect the date of the most recent update to ASI Privacy Policy; Section 1.2 updated to reflect new Website address for PPUL; Section 2.0 - ASI Travel Security Manager updated data processor name and contact information to reflect acquisition of Flightlock, Inc. by Control Risks; Section 2.0 - HOT SPOTS updated to reflect new email address and other contact information for HOT SPOTS; Section 5.0 updated to reflect new contact information; Section 9.0 updated with new email addresses and other contact information.

July 23, 2004: Section 2.0 updated to clarify usage of personal information for marketing purposes.  Airline Insider, ASI Essentials, Travel Security Manager and World Watch subsections updated from "may not use" to "will not use."

June 30, 2004: Sections 1.1 and 1.2 added to ASI Privacy Policy. Section 1.1 notes the "Effective Date" of the ASI Privacy Policy. This also constitutes the date that the document was last updated. Section 1.2 serves to announce the creation of the Privacy Policy Update Log ("PPUL") and provides a link to this document.
